General Experience
What if we’ve never had photos taken before?
That’s completely okay—and honestly, most of my clients haven’t. I’ll guide you through the entire session in a way that feels natural and easy. You don’t need to know what to do, just come as you are.
Do you help with posing?
Yes—always. I’ll gently guide you into positions that feel comfortable and natural, while also leaving space for real moments to unfold in between.
What should we wear?
After booking, you’ll receive a styling guide to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel like you. I’m also always happy to give feedback or help you decide.
Where will our session take place?
I’ll help you choose a location based on the look and feel you’re drawn to—whether that’s open fields, wooded areas, or something more minimal and clean.
Booking & Planning
How do we book?
Once you reach out, I’ll send over availability and next steps. A signed contract and retainer officially secure your date.
How far in advance should we book?
I recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like spring and fall.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes—a retainer is required to reserve your session date, with the remaining balance due before your session.
Where will our session take place?
I’ll help you choose a location based on the look and feel you’re drawn to—whether that’s open fields, wooded areas, or something more minimal and clean.
Session Details
How long are sessions?
Signature sessions are typically up to one hour. This allows enough time for variety while keeping things relaxed and natural.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s okay—really. I work with children in a way that allows them to be themselves, and some of the best moments come from letting go of expectations.
Can we include extended family?
Sessions are designed for one immediate household. If you’d like to include extended family, I’m happy to accommodate with additional pricing based on group size and complexity.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll reschedule for a new date. I always keep a close eye on conditions leading up to your session.
Galleries & Images
How many images will we recieve?
You’ll receive a curated gallery of 25–30 hand-edited images, with the option to upgrade to your full gallery.
Can we purchase more images?
Yes—you’ll have the option to upgrade your gallery once it’s delivered.
When will we receive our photos?
Your gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks after your session.
Will we get unedited photos?
I don’t deliver unedited images, as editing is a big part of the final experience and ensures everything you receive reflects my work fully.
What if I’m awkward in photos?
You’re not—I promise. Most people feel this way, and it’s my job to create a space where you can relax and just be yourself. You don’t need to perform or be anything other than who you are.
