Neighborhood Summer Sessions are designed to be a simpler, more accessible version of my normal portrait experience — created especially for local families this season 🤍
Session Cost – $45
Each session includes:
- 15–20 minutes outdoors
- 5 hand-edited images
- Delivered in an online gallery
Additional images and full gallery upgrades will also be available afterward if you’d like more moments from your session 🤍
Optional Gallery Upgrades
- +5 extra images → $40
- +10 extra images → $85
- Full gallery upgrade → $125

A few gentle wardrobe suggestions 🤍
• Neutral, earthy, or soft tones photograph beautifully
• Try to avoid neon colors or large graphics/logos when possible
• Simple textures and layered outfits tend to photograph best
• Most importantly: wear something that feels comfortable and true to your family

Arrive & Relax
Sessions will take place near the front office/community area and are intentionally relaxed, simple, and kid-friendly.
Gallery Delivery
You’ll receive an online gallery with 5 edited images included.
Choose More If You’d Like
Additional images and full gallery upgrades will be available afterward, though there’s never any pressure. Flexible payment plans are available as well. 🤍
Neighborhood Summer Sessions are available on select dates only:

General FAQs
What if we’ve never had photos taken before?
That’s completely okay—and honestly, most of my clients haven’t. I’ll guide you through the entire session in a way that feels natural and easy. You don’t need to know what to do, just come as you are.
Do you help with posing?
Yes—always. I’ll gently guide you into positions that feel comfortable and natural, while also leaving space for real moments to unfold in between.
How much do the sessions cost?
Sessions are $45 and are booked directly through the online calendar.
Because availability is very limited, spots are first come, first served.
Where will our session take place?
Sessions will take place within the neighborhood/community area. They will be held in the front near the main office to the right of the playground.
Will these sessions be offered again?
Possibly 🤍 This is something special I wanted to try for the community this summer, so future availability will depend on how this round goes.
Booking & Planning
What happens if it rains?
If weather becomes an issue, I’ll reach out with an updated plan or reschedule information as needed. Michigan weather can be unpredictable, so I always try to make the best call as close to session day as possible
How far in advance should we book?
I recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like spring and fall.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes—a retainer is required to reserve your session date, with the remaining balance due before your session.
Where will our session take place?
I’ll help you choose a location based on the look and feel you’re drawn to—whether that’s open fields, wooded areas, or something more minimal and clean.

Can we book more than one slot?
To help keep these sessions accessible for as many families as possible, I ask that each family reserve one session slot initially 🤍
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s okay—really. I work with children in a way that allows them to be themselves, and some of the best moments come from letting go of expectations.
Are these sessions for immediate families only?
Yes — due to the short session length, these are best suited for immediate families, couples, maternity, or children. Extended family sessions are better suited for a full session experience.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll reschedule for a new date. I always keep a close eye on conditions leading up to your session.
Galleries & Images
How many images will we receive?
You’ll receive a curated gallery of hand-edited images. You get to choose the 5 that come with your session, with the option to purchase additional images if you love more than 5. <3
Can we purchase more images?
Yes—you’ll have the option to upgrade your gallery once it’s delivered.
When will we receive our photos?
Galleries are typically delivered within 1–2 weeks after your session.
Are these sessions refundable?
Because spots are very limited, session payments are non-refundable. However, if something unexpected comes up, please reach out and I’ll always do my best to work with you.
